Situated in the historical center of Pienza in the heart in Tuscany the shop "Arte e Preziosi" specializes in a high quality selection of both antique jewellery and modern designs.
The antique pieces date from 18th century to the 20th while the new designs include unique pieces like antique cameo and leather jewellery designed by the owner of AP, Anna Porcu , as well as creations entirely handcrafted by Tuscan goldsmith-artists.

“From childhood, I have always had a strong passion for all forms & types of art ranging from paintings, photography, dance, fashion and the world!! I love travelling, learning more about other cultures as I love the range from living in the Tuscan countryside of all peace & small (divine) things and the chaos of large multi-ethnic international cities.
Being the daughter of an antiquarian, and having studied history of art and owning a jewellery shop, for many years I handled and saw a varied extent of cameos. These could be stunning or even quite ugly but always with different materials and extended stories, carved with ladies portraits, Roman figurines, cupids, mythological scenes and much more… My leather bracelets were to have a straight forward design & a more masculine feel so as to contrast with the different materials of the cameos and with the delicate intricate engravings.
I was trying to obtain something that had character which in turn could be both contemporary & traditional. I hoped the cuffs would have a vast range of interesting people, worn by romantics, eclectics and anyone in vogue.”
